Gjeçovi
A twentieth-century folklorist and collector, known by one name. His notes on the Dukagjin inscriptions were published posthumously.
Little is known about Gjeçovi with certainty. His notebooks, kept between 1928 and 1937, contain transcriptions of inscriptions that no longer exist, which makes them sole witnesses even where they are inaccurate. KASP publishes them with the editor’s notes kept clearly apart from his own text.
