An Indo-Europeanist working on pastoral vocabulary and on the reconstruction of proto-language agricultural terminology.
Hannelore Weiß-Trautmann published Die Wurzeln des indogermanischen Hirtenwortschatzes in 2022. The book argues that pastoral terminology preserves an older stratum than agricultural terminology, and that Albanian shows this more clearly than most branches.
The comparative appendix for Albanian was written specially for the KASP edition and does not appear in the German original.
